It's a tough job. Sometimes your thoughts can just explode onto the page and you think it's okay for somebody else to read. Taking a second look though, most of the time shows that what may make sense to you may not always make sense to your readers. Admittedly, there have been times when I've been a bit generic on my blog. That's definitely going to change. Glad you still fancy the blog - despite it's ups and downs :) You’re definitely right when you say writing is a challenge. It’s a tough job. Small world isn't it? :) U of C is a really great academic facility. The social life isn't as awesome as I thought it would be - to be blunt, by keeping this blog up and working on other projects in addition to school work, my social life has greatly diminished. But whatever, it's the life I chose to live. As they say, we are our own worst critics. Sometimes, I can't help it. I reread some of the stuff, I'm like "Man, what was I thinking?!" I'll try to be a little less critical of myself. I'm no longer a slave to pageviews, subscribers, and other meaningless numbers. I'm not going to sacrifice my love for writing and just post things for the superficiality alone.
