@Dani You're too kind! If we can't even love ourselves, do we deserve the ability to love someone else? Thanks for the comment!

@The Gooroo do what you want with your body. It's yours forever. Keep in mind the effects how you treat it. If you're okay with that, act accordingly. I'm glad you agree. Hope to see you around soon!

I think the ability to say no build character. A lot of people day yes to everything. Just call them YES man or YES Women. They seldom actually say no to situations , they truly dislike, just because they want to be accepted. This is a psychological misconception that many people feel is the way of life. Sometimes you just have to say no. Its doesn't make you a wrong person....it makes you human.

Any thoughts john!

Hey Lance! I know right? All it takes is one word and we'll be off the hook. Don't worry about hurting other people's feelings. Worry about what will happen if you accept and don't deliver.

Hi John,
I'm particularly drawn to the second point...saying "no". This can be hard to do (it is for me!), yet, when we say yes and don't deliver...that no is looking pretty good about that time - for everyone involved...

Hey Tyler! I wrote this post because I remembered all talk that I talked and the walk I didn't walk. That always got on my nerves. The main point I want to emphasize is that we shouldn't accept promises we know we can't keep. Glad you liked it.

Great post that opens a whole bag of worms. What about inherent promises like, say, fathering a child. Also important is how to be careful in committing yourself to a promise. I know that I have been burned by agreeing to perform a request only to find out I didn't have the resources to keep it. Keep up the good work!
